Love is God's will in action

When I need a little perspective either if I'm feeling full of myself or things are not very good. I gaze into the night sky and dwell on two thoughts .There are billions of solar systems of which we are only one and the light of the suns I'm looking at started its journey in many instances before Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon. We know so little the mystery of quantum physics ,the nature of time, answer one question and another invariably pops up. I look at my cat and she at me what's on her mind? How does she see the world. What does a bee think ? Or does he think at all? His eyes are a different structure to mine what is the rose to him ? We really are small boys throwing our stones into the dark lake the ripples slowly fading into the infinite. I find our ignorance is reassuring we still have a lot to learn.

So where do we see God in such a universe. ' well if there is a God he hides himself from us so it's impossible to know him' or ' what proof does he give us of his presence '. In a universe of so many questions love I believe provides a bedrock for our lives .it comes from no discernible source and yet it is the most powerful emotion of all and the greatest force for good in the world. It has no armies, no money you can buy it you can’t lock it up. Sometimes it makes us put our lives at needless risk, it makes us selfless and exists outside the frenzy and turmoil of the world. In a universe of uncertainty and mystery it shows us we have a God and a purpose.
