However, hard we try to be objective sooner or later almost everything moves into the subjective. We form an opinion usually for good or bad which in turn effects our mood for better or worse. But the interesting thing is the subject of our conjecture as often or not remains neutral. It is our act of thought the observation by the individual that colors our response. 'Glass half empty glass half full' we decide we weave the web of fate that binds us.
I have a friend in her mid seventies who in the course of a year lost her husband to cancer, developed Parkinson’s and had a stroke. But everything around her doctors, food, friends, her faith she takes as a blessing to the point that she glows with positivity. In the early dark days she developed a habit of placing everything that was happening into the hands of Christ and asking herself the question what would Christ want me to do in this situation and what are the positive lessons I can learn. It is a fact of life that likes attract.Laughter, joy, love, forgiveness can become the world that surrounds us as can misery, sadness, jealousy and hatred. The choice is ours to make. We talk about the light of Christ ' the I am the way’ he asks us to share this truth and create a happier world within and without. Life is a journey the world inside us is a mirror his word is our torch light or darkness happiness or sorrow the choice is ours.
