Thomas required proof of the risen Christ and indeed many people today doubt the story of Christ siting lack of evidence.But I believe that God has surrounded us with both the ‘truth’

and ‘the way’ all we have to do is open our eyes. The world is a crystal off which all our thoughts and actions get reflected everything we think and do creates a result which in turn acts as a signpost that leads us

invariably on a path back to the truth and the teachings of Jesus. It is an open book to Gods will.

Christ claimed he was the truth but what is the truth ? It is by nature indivisible it is the light that shines on an action or object that cannot be changed and any attempt to change or obscure that light creates a darkness which invariably leads to  sin and pain and is a lie and the devil is its father.Why has the Second World War often been referred to as the ‘good war’ it’s because like all wicked regimes throughout history, the terrible house of national socialism was built by Hitler from bricks made of lies which he used to justify the unspeakable horrors of the holocaust and the nazi invasions of Europe and Russia . It wasn’t until Churchill exposed them for the lies that they were and shone the torch of truth on them that the world saw the light and fought against the nazis. Even in our own lives one small lie  leads to another and yet more until invariably the artificial ‘untrue world’ that we have created come crashing down. Some of the most dreadful lies are told in the name of God and proclaimed as his will and the ineviatable result as with all things not built on the truth is that distortions such as the ISIS caliphate end in ashes utterly

discredited and destroyed. Stalin and Mao proclaimed the death of God. Where are they ?

When we read the teachings of Christ in the gospels there is a timeless goodness to his words and actions that remains undimmed through passing centuries wait long enough and a lie will always prove to be what it is no matter how it is presented or changed. Christ said ‘ I am the light of the world’ all that we need to do is shine that light on our lives and actions and the result will assuredly be peace,security  happiness. The opposite is not the truth it is a lie and with it comes spiritual darkness.
